So You Think You Can Dance season 9, Vegas Callbacks! The judges have traveled across the country in search of America's favorite dancer. Tens upon thousands of dancin' fools shook their moneymakers for the chance to join the competition. Almost 200 have made it to the next step on their journey: the Las Vegas callback round. For the next four days, these dancers would strive to survive the massive cuts in Sin City and earn a spot in Season 9's Top 20. David recaps! Nigel told the dancers that they'd first perform solos, and then the cuts would happen - so they had to be great or they'd be packing their bags to go home. The remaining dancers had to first survive a round of Hip-Hop choreography from incomparable Stephen "tWitch" Boss and Comfort Fedoke, both Season 4 alumni and current All-Stars. Day 2 began like any morning, with eating breakfast and getting pumped for the day - if your day is filled with endless hours of Broadway choreography from Tyce Diorio. Tyce described his routine as one of his hardest. Salt Lake City Ballroom dancers and friends Witney Carson and Lindsay Arnold were happily surprised to realize that they were Vegas roommates. Team Ballroom and several others were part of the first group of dancers for the Broadway round ...
