Make Video Look Like Film: Shot Design - Filmmaking Tutorial 1

Make Video Look Like Film: Shot Design - Filmmaking Tutorial 1 Tube. Duration : 9.22 Mins.

Watch all my video & photo tutorials here: bit.ly Contact me www.facebook.com & Twitter @TomAntos Merch: www.tlapro.com Learn what makes great looking images in film, music videos etc. It's not always the camera but how you design the shots. In this first overall tutorial I try to explain in general terms what designing a shot entails. This can be applied with any video cameras, as well as digital and film cameras. It's the basics of good photography. Special thanks to Beverley Marquis for starring in the video. Shot using the Red One Camera and Canon XH-A1. _____________________________ Follow me on: Twitter: twitter.com Facebook www.facebook.com Google+ t.co My name's Tom Antos and I make videos. SD-302 to Zoom H4n for Great Filmmaking Audio

SD-302 to Zoom H4n for Great Filmmaking Audio Tube. Duration : 5.87 Mins.

This is all about using line feed to get around low quality mic pre-amps in recorders and cameras. Why would you knock down a pristine line feed from a 00 SD-302, which has world class magnetic pre-amps, and start over using mic pre-amps in a 0 recorder? Always use a line input into a recorder or camera when you have good front end equipment. Note: My voice got really hoarse, there is no distortion at all, it just kind of sounds that way because I could not speak well.
