Here we have, side by side, two of Mesa/Boogie's most popular 4x12 cabinets, the 4x12 Stiletto and 4x12 Rectifier. These cabinets have the same speakers, but physically are built differently. They each have a unique voice, and we hope this video helps you decide which cabinet is best suited for you. We used a Dual Rectifier head set exactly the same for both cabinets, and we placed a Royer R121 ribbon microphone several feet in front of the cabinet. The Royer is a very natural sounding mic, and it accurately captures the sound you hear when standing in front of these two cabinets.
