Rodney Orpheus shows us the best way to set up a PreSonus StudioLive mixer to be remotely controlled by an Apple iPad, using the free StudioLive Remote iPad app! When set up, this system allows you to remotely control a StudioLive mixer with a custom-made iPad app. For live engineers this means you can mix standing exactly where the audience will be, with full control over the house sound! Not only that, you can check and instantly tweak sound throughout the venue, stand on stage and hear the stage monitors for yourself - as long as you have a wireless connection between your iPad and router/computer, you're in full control of the console. All sound on this video is recorded with a RØDE NTG-2 microphone going into a PreSonus FireStudio Mobile audio interface.
