Classic Game Room - ASTRO A40 gaming headset review

Classic Game Room - ASTRO A40 gaming headset review Video Clips. Duration : 7.68 Mins.

Classic Game Room reviews the ASTRO A40 gaming headset for PC gaming, PS3 and Xbox 360 (when used with Mixamp from Astrogaming.com). The Astro A40 headset is stylish and well designed with the ability to place the microphone on the left or right side of the headset. Comes with mini plug for standard audio gear, laptops and handheld systems like Nintendo DS, 3DS and Sony PSP as well as 1/4" adapter for headphone amplifiers and high end stereo receivers. The A40 works with a mic and headphone adapter as well for voice chat when playing games and can be used with Astro Mixamp. Headset gives simulated 7.1 channel sound and features deep, solid bass as well as an enveloping sound field full of gunfire, cars, explosions and dialog. This CGR video review of the Astro A40 features the green Astro A40 being used with iRacing (hooked up to a stereo receiver via 1/4" adapter) and Astro A40 used with Neo-Geo Pocket using mini adapter plug.

Classic Game Room - CYBER SNIPA SONAR 5.1 Channel Headset review

Classic Game Room - CYBER SNIPA SONAR 5.1 Channel Headset review Video Clips. Duration : 4.45 Mins.

Classic Game Room reviews the CYBER SNIPA SONAR 5.1 Channel Headset for PC gamers looking for surround sound and subwoofer effects while gaming and watching movies on PC (did not work with PS3 for this review, I think it requires software to be installed on the PC, CGR) Cyber Snipa 5.1 channel headphones come with a software install disc with drivers to add effects and adjust the sound quality and mic volume. The USB cord has a volume control and surround sound adjuster for individual speakers (each headphone has 4 drivers giving 8 total). The Cyber Snipa 5.1 channel USB headset has a microphne for talking with friends during games or chatting on Skype. Velour headset pieces are soft and comfy and the overall fit and finish is light and modern while looking like something Robocop would wear. Comfortable for long periods of time, the Cyber Snipa Sonar 5.1 headset is a great headset for games and movies where explosive sounds and directional effects are required.

Classic Game Room - SKULLCANDY SLYR gaming headset review

Classic Game Room - SKULLCANDY SLYR gaming headset review Tube. Duration : 4.18 Mins.

Skullcandy SLYR review. www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR, hear ye hear ye! http Classic Game Room reviews the SKULLCANDY SLYR gaming headset with a microphone that works on PlayStation 3 PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Neo-Geo MVS arcade machines and the Sega Genesis model 1. The Skullcandy SLYR is an affordable, wired set of headphones with a swivel out microphone that looks great and sounds good for gaming. Comfortable ear pieces, lots of bass and great styling matched with Xbox 360, PS3 and PC compatibility make this a versatile headset for those looking to balance performance with price. There's too many cables and you have to run your console audio in stereo (Aaaaaahhhhhrrrggg!!!), but it beat the standard headset if you're looking for total sound immersion and quality. CGR Skullcandy SLYR video review features Skullcandy SLYR footage on the Neo-Geo MVS arcade machine with headphone jacks since it comes with a standard 1/8th inch stereo audio cable that works on most mobile devices like iPad, iPhone, Atari Lynx, Sega Game Gear, Game Boy and Game.com. Skullcandy makes a more expensive wireless gaming headset as well.

Ableton Live Tutorial How to use Logic Pro Mainstage as a plugin via Soundflower

Ableton Live Tutorial How to use Logic Pro Mainstage as a plugin via Soundflower Tube. Duration : 6.55 Mins.

Watch in HD! I couldn't pass up educational pricing on Logic Studio, so I found a way to use Logic's soft synths inside of Ableton Live. The virtual MIDI ports in OS X provide MIDI communication, and Cycling 74's Soundflower utility provides the way to route audio between Mainstage and Live (since they don't like to play together with rewire). I aggregated all my audio devices into one so that I could use my microphone and soundflower at the same time. You don't have to get that fancy if you just want to route audio from logic to live. remember to set the buffer size in soundflower to be as low as you can without breaking up in order to minimize latency. The audio is a little funky due to some experiments with compressors and audio rates.
