On this week's Aspire, Chloe Wilde shows us a luxury study made from repurposed Mercedes parts, an action camera that'll capture your wildest adventures and a custom-built aquarium fish tank bed that lets you sleep with the fishes. First up, South African artist Katie Thompson has crafted a career out of repurposing discarded furniture and accessories and giving them new life. Her company, Recreate, can turn suitcases into chairs or printing trays into coffee tables. Thompson's latest challenge, however, has been taking the interior of a Mercedes-Benz SL, and designing a home office out of it. The dashboard has been converted into a one-of-a-kind desk with magnetised pads instead of speedometers, card holders instead of vents and a USB charger in the old ignition lock. The driver's seat had its inner components removed to make it lighter and now functions as a swivel chair, the rearview mirror has become a desk lamp and it turns out the brake pedal makes a perfect pen holder.
