Samsung Galaxy Note II Review

Samsung Galaxy Note II Review Video Clips. Duration : 14.05 Mins.

"Is it a phone? Is it a tablet? It's Galaxy Note!" So read the quote that kicked off the ad campaign surrounding the original Galaxy Note, the 5.3-inch hybrid device Samsung unveiled last year. Like many Samsung ad slogans, this one was a tad inaccessible, but at least the first two-thirds of it accurately stated the question a lot of us were asking: was the product a smartphone or was it a tablet? And furthermore, what place did it have in the market? What exactly did "it's Galaxy Note" mean? To the surprise of some -and the delight of Samsung, no doubt- those questions didn't keep the original Galaxy Note from skyrocketing to success. As of August, Samsung had sold 10 million units worldwide, proving that "phablets" did indeed have a place in consumers' hearts and pockets. Before long, the company had single-handedly carved out a new category in mobile computing devices, and went on to expand the Note brand to include devices in other categories as well. A follow-on phablet seemed assured. The Galaxy Note II is that device. We first got our hands on it at this year's IFA, and we've just wrapped up a solid week of testing our own review unit here in the States. We've editorialized on its hybrid nature, waxed poetic in video demos of its features, and even podcasted at length about this new kid on the phablet block. So, does the new smartphone/tablet live up to the high bar set by its predecessor? Grab your favorite beverage, put your feet up, and watch to find out. Visit ...

[Nightly] CyanogenMod 9 on Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G [SGH-T679]

[Nightly] CyanogenMod 9 on Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 4G [SGH-T679] Tube. Duration : 15.33 Mins.

NOTE: THIS ROM IS NO LONGER BEING MAINTAINED! This is a very informal test of jocala's CyanogenMod 9 ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit/Exhibit II 4G. Had to speed up the video because it's too long for YouBoob. Sorry if the music doesn't fit, I just threw in random music I had in my library :P In this test I'll be showing you some of the basic features of the ROM. Note that this ROM is still in beta, so it will be a bit buggy. Sorry for the lag in some parts, I've become used to the ROM and installed a lot of stuff, so the ROM should be flying fast when you first install it. Also, I tried to test the GPS but due to the current test build I'm running it was be broken. The build on the front page post is working fine. Currently working: * Touchscreen * Boot animations * Data/calling/SMS/MMS * Wi-Fi * Bluetooth * GPS * Speaker and headphone * Microphone * Camera and LED flashlight! * Hardware acceleration * All built-in sensors * CPU control [no overclock yet] * init.d support * Most other things Currently not working: * Tethering through USB Bugs: * Mounting over USB storage with an external SD card inserted will cause the phone to not mount the internal SD card. * LED light does not work in camera, must use an app called Smart Flashlight. All credit goes to jocala, Core2idiot arco68, and all contributing forum goers over at the XDA-Developers forum. Please thank them for their hard work! And please DO NOT bug them 24/7 nagging for new features or "cool phone hax", that's ...

Neil Young - Out on the Weekend

Neil Young - Out on the Weekend Tube. Duration : 4.02 Mins.

February 23, 1971 www.amazon.com Watch the full show: thesixtiesarchive.blogspot.com Harvest www.amazon.com is the fourth solo album by Neil Young, released February 1972 on Reprise Records, catalogue RS 6317. It featured the London Symphony Orchestra on two tracks, while noted guests David Crosby, Graham Nash, Linda Ronstadt, Stephen Stills, and James Taylor contributed vocals. It topped the Billboard 200 album chart for two weeks, and spawned two hit singles, "Old Man", which peaked at #31 on the Billboard Hot 100, and "Heart of Gold", which peaked at #1. It was the best-selling album of 1972. After Young left Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, he recruited a group of country session musicians (whom he christened The Stray Gators) and recorded a country rock record in Harvest. The record was a massive hit, producing a US number one single in "Heart of Gold". Other songs returned to some usual Young themes: "Alabama" was "an unblushing rehash of 'Southern Man'"; and "The Needle and the Damage Done" was a lament for great artists who had died of heroin addiction. The album's success caught Young off guard and his first instinct was to back away from stardom. He would later write that the record "put me in the middle of the road. Traveling there soon became a bore so I headed for the ditch. A rougher ride but I saw more interesting people there." Young arrived in Nashville in 1971 to perform on the Johnny Cash Show for a broadcast where Linda Ronstadt and James Taylor would ...

Samsung W200 HD Pocket Camcorder - Full Review

Samsung W200 HD Pocket Camcorder - Full Review Tube. Duration : 12.80 Mins.

This review is for the Samsung W200 HD Pocket Camcorder. All scenes were shot in 1080p/30fps handheld, with Anti-Shake On. The other two options that the camera has, Face Detection and Back Light were off. The underwater shot could've been better but it's winter here and a bucket of water is the best I could do for the time being. I imagine with greater lighting and the camcorder being further away from the subject, the results will be better. Overall I would rate the camera **4/5 (I have recently changed my score, see below why). Video is pretty good and it takes decent pictures as well with its 5mp camera. The underwater mode is really cool, it allows me to really play around with some shots. It is also shockproof which extends my experimentation. I had problems with some of it's hardware/software, for example, you press record and sometimes it takes a while for it to start recording. Or when you think you press the record button and you don't. It records on an mp4 format but for some reason it has issues in Final Cut Pro. I am still an amateur at FCP but here are some the problems I have with it: Can't Log and Transfer (SD adapter maybe?) Sequence Playback (stops numerous times in between clips, hadn't had this problem until now. I've used a higher quality camera with no problems even with a 5400 rpm drive. The only thing I can think of is that this camera only shoots 30fps, while the higher quality camera could do 24fps, which is what I have it set on. I've tried ...

Proclamation - Duet for Clarinet and Violin Based on Amazing Grace

Proclamation - Duet for Clarinet and Violin Based on Amazing Grace Video Clips. Duration : 1.15 Mins.

To download the score and whole mp3, go to blog.calebhugo.com Please note, this video is just a sample. Instrumentation: Violin and B Flat Clarinet Duration: 2:30 I've learned to never force music into the box I originally intended it to be put into, but this piece took that concept to a new level for me. My original plan was to write a sacred work for violin and saxophone for my friend and I to play during communion services. Typically, communion has two musical segments; one for each communion element. So, I wanted the work to be two movements with each being less than two minutes long. The first movement came together very naturally and very quickly, but then life happened and I never got around to writing the second movement. When I finally got a chance to work on it again, I realized that there was no good musical reason to add a second movement. I also realized that the only reason I was using the saxophone was because I sound my best on it. Clarinet blends with violin much more naturally (although I attribute this to traditional bias) and the very simple part I had written for it makes more sense with a simpler sound. I rewrote the piece for violin and clarinet thinking I would just have my wife play it instead (although I ended up recording it since we weren't married yet and she was 650 miles away at the time). So I started with a two movement work for violin and saxophone to be used for communion and ended up with a one movement work for violin and clarinet to ...
